estudio 230 not printing

    estudio 230 not printing

    I installed the e-230 driver in system and try to give the print, but in machine the date LED blinks once and not printing done. i tried with different drivers and systems. but no result. how to solve the problem.

    1. Do you have print enabler installed (GM1010 or GM2020)
    2. How are you trying to print usb or network
    3. What error code are you getting; Job status/logs/print
    4. If you are using Dept codes, have you checked invalid queue.
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

      I just installed the printer driver only, which is downloaded from Toshiba support. i tried only with USB cable, no network option available. i don't have any GM1010 or GM 2020.
      and also the print Que dosnt have any printing due's while giving the print command, in machine only data LED blinks once and nothing happen.

      What i have to do next.

        Check to see if you have Print enabler installed. Toshiba 230 have a lot of issues with the nic card. Lots of them went bad.

          You need fit a GM1010 or GM2020, the only option is to activate the 60 day trial in the 08 codes, but after 60 days the printing will stop and you need to fit the enabler.
          Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

            sdrawcab is right in saying that you need a GM1010 or GM1020 USB enabler in the machine.

            These machines are not print ready out of the box. They need the enabler to be able to print or scan.
            Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

              i may have a enabler. I can check if your interested. I know I have enablers for 352 not sure about 230.

                I have an enabler GM-1020,is only for printing .Maybe you are interested?

                  Tku for give the suggestions. yes the problem fixed, i just replaced the GM 1020 and the problem was solved.
