Toshiba eStudio 2551c print density adjustment

We sold a eStudio 2551c to a customer who needs the print density adjusted extremely dark; copy quality is fine from the glass, but the customer is comparing their print quality from their PC's to an older Toshiba model (eStudio 230) and finding it lacking. Does anyone have any information on how to tweak the print density so that it equals copy quality?

Best you don't tweek anything, clean slit glasses, check the PM Life of the Dev, and Drum Units and replace if necessary (9+Start > pow on > 103) perform recal (0+5 > pow on > 396 > 4719 > 4 > FAX > 1642 > 70 Fax > 1008 as a last resort remove Laser Unit & clean the inside of the slit glasses or what Paul suggested.

How many clicks are on the copier? Did you try a different Toshiba print driver like PSL3. What firmware version is your copier at?
