Toshiba E 352 right side door

I have an Toshiba E 353,E453 and E352 all three machines work but, the right side door(T/S corona unit) will not stay close on it own.If I close the duplex unit the machine works fine .All hinges and latches look OK on the right door.Is there a trick to making the door stay close?

They are made that way because with the older models customers use to break the fuser covers. Now when the duplex is open it automatically drops down to prevent customers from breaking the fuser covers. I hope this answers your question.
