We were fighting the error F070 tech was updating firmware after replacing the logic board from a working machine (which it failed) and turned off machine accidentally,now the machine is dead!!!
Wanting to know how to get the machine back up after a power shut down during firmware.Thx

I have never had that problem before but here it is according to the Service Handbook.

[F070] Communication error between System-CPU and Engine-CPU
[F110] Communication error between System-CPU and Scanner-CPU
[F111] Scanner response abnormality
(1) Check if the connector CN102, CN103 on the SYS board is disconnected.
(2) Check if the connector CN10 on the SLG board is disconnected.
(3) Check if the harness connecting the SYS board and SLG board is disconnected or open circuited.
(4) Check if the harness connecting the SYS board and LGC board is disconnected or open circuited.
(5) Check the version of the system ROM on the SYS board.
(6) Check the version of the engine ROM version on the LGC board.
(7) Check the version of the scanner ROM version on the SLG board.
(8) Replace the SYS board.
(9) Replace the SLG board.
(10) Replace the LGC board

If the mach. was shut down durring a USB update, the only way that may bring it back it to do the firmware update with the jigs instead, if you have the jigs and rom chips...only other way I can think of, is if you can get into 3C mode, and reset all flags and reformat HDD, then you may be able to go USB update.
I guess there is a good reason for the warning about dont shut off power while doing this.
