Toshiba e4520c colour machine print/copy quality issue....

    Hi All,

Is there anyone had experience this problem on Toshiba e4520C colour machine? I have attached the copy image(sky shot) and if you have notice there's a diagonal white pattern. We already replaced Dev unit and Drum unit Ass'y twice and it works fine for sometime and then comeback the problem again after few weeks.

    Apprecite your respond... Thanks..

Note: Happens only on black drum...

You have the earlier type EPU, after 100K + the Mag Roller gets very smooth and cannot hold the Developer, the quick fix is to empty the Dev and vac the Unit out, then lightly and evenly sand the Mag Roller Sleeve with a fine grade Emery Paper (you may need to do this on each Dev change) also the Dev removed may be reused, the long term fix is to replace the Mag Roller with the newer Fluted Type Mag Roller.

Thanks for your reply canonbundy, As I mentioned we already replaced Development Unit Ass'y including Drum unit ass'y and also recently a new Magnetic Roller and developer, however, this problem still playing up for many times. They have 2 machines same model but only this unit having this problem.

It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

Check your dev bias and all the mods mentioned. This is a symptom of developer being pulled or toner not being added.

X2 install new mag roller and set the brush height correctly.
