Comrades: I would value anybodys views on any points concerning the effect on copy quality running tosh machines in tonersave mode as I am going to experiment with this feature as it has obvious finacial gains but how much will the cq suffer >>>>>?????

I assume you mean in Printing Preferences, check this box, usually located under the Others Tab in the Print Driver. The Help button says that it might make prints lighter. I do not know what % of toner you might actually save but I expect the overall savings and toner saved will be of marginal economic benefit to you.

thanks my idea is yes a toner saving but I also think the machines would jam less and run cleaner cutting service calls

Might be a small benefit if the customer was doing a lot of coverage. Might be a case if it aint broke.... Do you have problems with many machines with high toner usage and problem calls due to this ?
