    E-Studio16 and Printing

    Hello all,
One of my clients has an older E-Studio16. Today I was trying to get it to print from a PC. It only has a parallel connection which is no big deal. Here is the issue. No matter what I do, when I press the Printer button on the front, I get a double beep. I have looked inside of the different settings on the unit and there is nothing even mentioning that it can print. It is all about copying. Is it possible, even though the unit has a parallel port, that it cannot print? Or is there some unique key combination that I must do on the unit to have it recognize that yes indeed it has the ability to print?
    Thanks,
    Kelly

you need a print kit and a paper feed pwb (may be installed if it has a lower cassette or lcf.)
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

If my memory is good you are able to print using LPT but with GDI drivers.
Not the popular regular PCL/PS driver.

Sbarro is correct about the E16 printing throught the parallel port with a GDI driver.
