    Toshiba e6530c intermittent void area/lines

    Greetings folks.

Just wondering if anyone out there has seen this problem e6530c scan.pdf ?

The problem is intermittent and I've replaced the 2nd transfer roller, swapped the drum units. The void lines are perpendicular to paper feed and they vary in length but they are always toward the front side of the machine. I have not successfully stopped the machine halfway to see where the problem is (transfer belt, drum) because it is so intermittent. But it happens enough that they can't trust the machine.

Anyway, I am going to try the HVT next and I'll post any results I find.

    Thanks

Ok, it seems common to all colours so I would suggest reseating the ITB Unit (it seems higher on one side) and while you have the Unit out clean the Laser Glasses - (take the Drum Unit assy out also to make this easier) - wind the large white gear (L/H side) 180 degrees to open the shutter and expose the Laser Glass, cleanout the T/fer Cleaner & replace the Blade (if it's worn) - perform Calibration >05-396 > 4719 > 4 FAX 1642 > 70 FAX 1008.
