    E Studio 3520C Set up

    Hi Guys,

I have recently brought a 3520c and would like some help on how to set it up?

I currently do not have a server, I have plugged the printer in via an Ethernet cable to my router.

I have also installed all the software on the CD's supplied, but I am not able to print via my laptop to the printer.

I do have a smaller printer which is just for home use that works, but would love to get this one working.

Is there something I required to do?

    Thanks in advance

First off is you printer connected to the modem/router or just router.

If its connected to the modem/router you will have to assign the Photocopier a IP address or put the IPV4 setting to Dynamic and let it find its on IP address.

Next go to Toshiba - Photocopiers, printers and fax and download the 32bit or 64bit version to your computer (if you don't know your OS ver and bit rate, go to computer right click and go to properties there you will find the OS ver and bit rate). After you finish downloading extract it out.

Go to 'control panel' and then go to 'devices and printers' can also be called 'printers' on some old OS. Then right click in the 'devices and printers' and go to 'add printer' the go 'add local printer' select the second option 'create a new port' the chose the drop down and select 'standard TCP/IP port' the click next.

Type in the IP address of the the photocopier and untick 'query the printer' the click next.

Then click 'have disk' click 'browse' then browse your way to where you extracted the file you downloaded select the one that shows up should be a setup information file (INI).

Click 'ok' then 'next' rename the Photocopier if you want then click 'next'

Do not share or share the photocopier is up to you click 'next'.

Set it as default if you want also click 'print a test page' to see if it all went well. It should have gone all good anyway then just click 'finish' and your all done.

You can change the printer preferences in 'devices and printers' just 'right click' the printer driver you just installed and select 'printer preferences' and change the colour it always prints in to black and white (in the second tab) also turn off duplex (in i think 3rd tab) then click 'apply' then 'ok'.

    ALL DONE good luck.
