    Estudio 3511 Paper Draw Noise

    Hello all,

On my 3511, whenever I open the top paper draw and close it, I hear a bunch of clicks/grinding noise as it lifts the paper. The draw works perfectly with the expection of this noise. Any idea what this can be? Is there a calibration I have to run on that lift motor?

Also, if anyone knows were I can get the latest firmware for that model, please let me know!

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi CRC2k,
At the back of the machine there is a lift motor assembly white plastic cover, remove the assembly and open the cover.
Inside there will be a set of gears check these and also check the actual cover of the assembly, sometimes the pillars that the gears sit on crack, thats generally the problem I've found.

      Hi,
      TommiTMX was right.
Put your lift motor assembly on a table and open it carefully, otherwise all gears and springs will go anywhere!
