toshiba 2830c

I have one that wont recognize the kd-1024 lcf, tried 08-255 to manually install it but it keeps going back to "0" which is the auto detect setting, printed out the error code and there were no errors, checked all the wiring to make sure everything was plugged in, is there a setting to disable the lcf if there is a problem? or am i missing something, any help is appreciated and thank you in advance

do you know if the lcf actually works if not try on another machine

Never mind it was the wiring harness on the machine side,replaced and all is good
