[Misc] 3500c weird df problems

3500c, press copy with nuthing in df, trys to feed(df) shows jam. turn off(wont clear otherwise) on, samething. I ck threw ALL sensors. no clue. if you place an orig on glass it trys to use df also....???????????????? mr3018 df, i have been struggling for weeks with this. logic pwb? df pwb??????????

I've seen this when the tech changed out the feed rollers and put the assy back together incorrectly, the paper present sensor was stuck it the flagged position. In this case, it would scan all docs in the feeder and continue to try and feed when all sheets had passed thinking there was still paper in the feeder. The roller assy has a little metal tab that can be easily installed outside of its correct position. This causes the paper present flag to ride against the frame. Emujo

I did just change rollers,btw......I will check that out for sure. I no most little secrets on sharps. Ugh foiled again. Thanx!
