Lcc not moving paper from left to right side

I have an es5520c that will not move paper from the left side to the right. It is almost as if someone has disabled this function. I have looked in the manual and handbook and do not see a place for this. Am I missing something?

Thank you for reading. I feel like a fool. The sensor flag in the back of the tray was broken.
