[Misc] e-Studio 523 (Screen Reads: "Ready (Toner Not Recognized)

Grainy prints, like the developer isn't getting any toner. Took the front covers off to see if the toner is replenishing and the toner bottle, gears, or motor is not turning.
The machine is not throwing any kind of error either. Any known resolutions?

Well if I had my choice it would definitely without a doubt be a Konica Minolta in the place of the Toshiba, because to me that is by far the best copier out there (for image quality, durability, and performance). But I need to get this machine up and going and would like to know if it is probably going to be the toner drive motor or what, if anyone has ran across this before.

Clean/replace Hopper Sensor - Clean Sensor in Dev Unit & check Sensor Wiper (loses cleaning ability) - replace Wiper ( attached to Toner Auger) - replace Developer & run Dev Init.

Does anyone know the part number for the toner cartridge detection switch (SW2)?

Check upper part of front cover (toner cover) if it engaged correctly. Check plastic part that pushes open/closed switch and switch itself if they are ok. Some times plastic part just missing...

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

Actually, this is usually caused by the PADDLE wiper, not the sensor itself. What happens is the rubber forms away from the sensor, not allowing it to get a good reading.
