    [Error Code] ES 6530 C390

So I've not seen this code before. Looking up the error, looks to be a Auto-Toner sensor (C) code. I had no idea where that was, so I looked up it's location in the service manual. It appears to be on the Dev unit, is that correct? If so, does anyone have any experience with testing it, replacing it, or them going bad in general? If so, what are some other things that I can check on which would cause this error. Thanks.

I had this 1 in a million situation whereby a tiny piece of plastic from the Y Toner cartridge wedged between the Toner Drive Gears & prevented the Toner being added........1 in a million.

Remove the Drum Unit & check the Dev on the Mag Roller surface is even all over, if you can see the Roller then the Dev has migrated to the waste container, the cause of this can be a worn Drum, a burnt Grid, a defective electrode contact or a combination of all.

Check the PM life of the Units, 6+Start P/ON > 2 & replace if over life, if the Dev has depleted - expensive, you will need to replace after the fault has been rectified & it MUST be done correctly as per the Manual or the problem will return even if all the good bits have been replaced.

    Cliff.

So the coverage was perfect, but I noticed that the lower gears were locked up. Manually rotated them for a couple minutes, and they freed up. Printing perfectly now.
