Where can I find an EPROM burner from Toshiba?

My manager just gave me the task of locating a Toshiba EPROM burner. She said that she decided to go for the equipment from the manufacturer rather then something like Ebay, or Amazon to be assured the product will be compatible with our equipment. I've looked at the Toshiba website, but can't seem to locate anywhere on their site where there might be one available.

Also, the boss is asking for the EPROMs themselves, is that a part you can order from Toshiba?

If anyone can help I would be grateful,

    Thanks in Advance,

    Marc

If Toshiba ever offered an eeprom burner it would have been at least 15 years ago, they did post the eeprom files on the website for downloads, and they used to offer the actual eeproms. This was back when only the MFP firmware was user friendly, and all the accessories had burnable/replaceable eeproms. We did have a burner, but it was tossed 7-8 years ago because the manufacture didn't offer drivers for Win XP. Still have the UV eraser laying around somewhere. My advice to your SM would be to offer an upgrade to the customers equipment...Anything still in use that had to have an EEPROM replacement is beyond obsolete... Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

The EPROM part number for Toshiba EPROM's is M27C4001-10F1, but you need to buy a generic burner. We use an old one from Andromeda Research. The files are still on Toshiba's FYI site, and we only use them when we need to burn an EPROM for the firmware update jig.
