    Estudio 3511 Firmware

I've picked up a machine with finisher and plenty of toner however the HDD was knackered. Replaced the HDD and now need to get the firmware from somewhere. Toshiba want nearly $300 to come do it and I'm not totally sure that's all that wrong with it. If somebody could help me out with this I would be forever grateful

IMO...you should bite the bullet and pay the tech. More than likely, you're gonna have to pay someone for the firmware file. And if they send you the most recent, it may not work if your MFP is not already at a level to accept this firmware. If you can get it for free, it will probably be some 3rd world tech who thinks he's doing you a favor by sending you the wrong county firmware. So, assuming you got the MFP for close to nothing, invest the $300, get the firmware installed correctly, and up to date. Also have the tech setup the print and scan side for you as well if he seems to have some time left from the original ticket. It should only take around 30 min to flash the MFP even if it has to be done in steps. the remaining time can be used as you see fit. Emujo
