Customer has a 2830c. Nobody has a dept. code in the office, but they want color to be restricted and b/w available for everyone. In department management, I have created a "Color" department code. I did not activate a limit as those who are authorized to print in color do not want a quota placed on them and I enabled no limit black. This has essentially preventing anyone from being able to print or copy (I did enable color scanning and fax) in color unless they enter a code. This works great from the machine itself...if you attempt to change the copier to color, it prompts for a dept. code. However, my problem is that when someone prints something in color from their computer, they are not prompted for a code and the job is printed in color. I have set this up many times in the past without issue. Not sure what is going on. Anyone have a suggestion?
