    es 3540c hard drive question

    Hello

I have a couple of es3540c copiers in without hard drives. I have a pile of hard drives from es3530c copiers and need to know if there is anyway I can use these. When I try to follow the instruction in the book I get the message USB media are not recognized when trying the firmware update. I have used the firmware to update machines that came in with hard drives. If this will not work can I buy a similar hard drive and install it?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Your machine is e3540c or e3540cse?
e3540cse is using ADI-HDD, according to manual, replacing ADI-HDD with SATA-HDD is not possible. U can only replace with another ADI-HDD...
