    Job Skip E Studio 4555C

Any ideas why after the machine has run out of paper & been reloaded, it drops the current print job and runs everything else in the queue. Have enabled auto tray switch, but problem is still there if all supplies run out .Have disabled job skip, but customer wants that feature.

I've run into the exact same issue, and I'm hoping that a firmware update fixes it eventually. It's especially problematic when the copier runs out of paper half-way through a job. If it's a 30 page document and it runs out of paper on page 10 then when paper is reloaded it prints all the other jobs that came after before completing the initial job. So the customer ends up with the first 10 pages, then a bunch of other print jobs, and then the final 20 pages. The first call I had with this issue I thought the customer was making things up until I saw it for myself!
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Thanks arnh. I've never come across this before, but I'll keep my eye open for it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
