eStudio 453, all EDIT selections are "grayed out", how do I restore selections?

I've been going through the Service Handbook, have not come across anything for this.
When you select EDIT to do things like: edge erase, dual page, 2in1 4in1, page #, time stamp, etc. - all these selections are grayed out and you cannot select them, I have tons of these machines still out and have never seen this before. How can I restore these?

Also "APS" and "mixed originals" are on defaulted, normal for APS to be default-yes of course but mixed originals is also always on and I think this is causing image orientation issues with the machine.
How can you default mixed originals OFF ?

This machine is kind of crazy, previous techs must have been messing with all sorts of settings...

Will a 08-665 M/SYS all clearing, initialize fix all these issues?

F/W is up to date 356

Update : I fixed this issue with 08-618, changed back to default of 0.
This fixed grayed out tabs in "edit" and it also un-defaulted "mixed originals" being on all the time.
