    How to SMB scan eS2550c

Hello, I've been looking for step by step guides on how to set up SMB scanning on this machine with Yosemite Mac's / Win7 PC's

They will eventually all be MAC's, any other info I'll try to acquire if need be, thanks.

Sorry, I should have mentioned, no the copier side via TopAccess - I am aware of that.

The actual MAC/Windows PC side of things I'm after, if possible, thanks.

Smb scanning, need to share out folder with permission. It is better to configure client PC using fix ip address rather than computer name.

Unless there's been an update I'm unaware of, Yosemite does not support scan to SMB. We sell Toshiba and Samsung and after some of my customers upgraded to Yosemite the SMB scanning function stopped working on both these models. From what I read online Apple changed the way SMB scanning works (not sure on the details) and so we have to wait for copier manufacturers to address the issue through firmware updates.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

I had this same issue with a department in our school system that all used MACs and the IT department suggested that the copier could SMB scan to a Windows Server and then the MACs could access the docs thru a shared folder on that Windows Server.
This suggestion will help IF you have a Windows Server. If you don't have the server, you might consider scan-to-email or if it is necessary to have SMB scanning, get a cheap laptop and use it as your "SMB server" and then link the MACs to it. I'm not an IT guy so I'm not sure if this will help. Good luck!!
