Re: DC700i external fiery controller
What is the alpha code on the controller? Right in front of the serial number on the controller. -
Re: DC700i external fiery controller
Must be something like BT6-xxxxxx and running Win7 Pro as operating system.
For 700 the fiery code is MXT-xxxxx and run WinXP.
You cant upgrade EX fiery for 700 to 700i only reloading the operating systemComment

Re: DC700i external fiery controller
700i should be "BP2" if its an "MMX" it's for a 700.
Why did you need to reload Sys Software? Are you sure it took it?Comment

Re: DC700i external fiery controller
Yes its an external controller, not bustled. The details in the information plate on the body of the controller is as stated above. I will repeat it here again:
Part No: 45067747
Serial No: T00175026
Model: Pro80-05
I re-installed the controller software because it stopped booting up. After re-installing the system and user sw, the controller now boots up completely, lunches command work station but CWS does not connect with the machine. And the controller shuts down all by itself shortly after its full boot up. Pls what can i do to solve this issue.DgtalComment

Re: DC700i external fiery controller
I am thinking that the problem is that i used a wrong software version to re-install. To be frank, i'm not sure the version i used because i used copies of the software cd's not well labelled with sw version. Can someone out there advise on the correct sw version and/or (possibly) help out with a copy. Thanks.DgtalComment
