I have a finisher for the series docucolor, it is also compatible with the color 550 or 700i

Yes and no. They look similar but they are different Docucolor finishers have a square top front cover, the 550/560's have a rounded one. Likely you have a serial # prefix PNX or a PNB (professional/ advanced). The 550/560 uses a XVE and XVG.

Or you may have a TKX (Light Production) that wont work on the 550 either, you would need a YBF for that.

They will work on the 700/700i/770 though.

Furthermore, GXP, GXU and DTX are all older Docucolor finishers that work ONLY on the Docucolor series and not on 700/700i/770.

PFN? I couldn't find anything. If you open the door it should be on the top portion of the inside.

Likely is will work on the 700i but not the 550.
