[Misc] GSN PWS etc

Hello,

New to Xerox/edocs. Just upgraded IE8 to IE9 and now I can't find eureka/searchlite/manuals etc.

Going to look at a Versant 80 1st call tomorrow and really need these back.

I've re-installed GSN but they still aren't showing?

What have I done?

I'm sure Xerox told me IE9 was the best for their software....

What version of pws do you have ?

PWS says 4.0.11.0

GSN is release 11

Yes try that.
pws 11.0.60 support Win7 32 bit and IE9
pws 11.2 suport Win7 64 bit with IE9 for 32 bit but I dont know if they finished the tools support for this pws version.

Nope, that didn't work. Ran the bus station. Installed my edocs. But can't view anything in IE8 either.

All the Xerox command bar buttons have vanished.

Any ideas?

Yes try that.
pws 11.0.60 support Win7 32 bit and IE9
pws 11.2 suport Win7 64 bit with IE9 for 32 bit but I dont know if they finished the tools support for this pws version.

Happened to me once...IE updated so I uninstalled the update, there were several that I needed to uninstall.

E-Mail me and I will send you the procedure to get your PWS home, searchlite, and contents icons back on the Internet Explorer home page. I ask my win 7 PWS users to turn off Windows updates so this will not happen to them. I have found IE8 runs best for Win 7 32 bit PWS. xtraininc@cableone.net

Looks like fatfingers fixed it with the procedure I sent him. Again, if you allow Windows 7 to do automatic updates, and you are presently using IE8/IE9, it will update to IE11, which will not work with PWS 11.

Yep all good. I left it on IE9, as I didn't want to risk rolling back to IE8 and losing it again.

Have a two week Nuvera course coming up soon and need it working.

we use GSN pws11 in windows7 64bits and IE8 like user friendly

Hi everyone,
Is the service information now available as a pdf for a Xerox 700? I found the service manual for a Xerox 252, but not the Xerox 700. Do I need the software to repair the copier myself?
