dc250 116-330 error

I have the 116-330 error on my dc250.. A tech told me it could be the fiery, so I updated the bundled fiery software, but I still get the 116-330, so its probably the HDD..

I know there is some kind of procedure for to scan an check the hdd put I cannot remember how to get to it...

also is swapping the hdd for a new one an easy task ??

Very easy. Slide the ESS out and the HDD will be right on top, remove the 3 screws to remove and replace. Upon start up press and hold: 4, energy saver, and start. This will format and partition the HDD for use. You may want to try the procedure with the HDD you have now, it may work, but I will still replace it ASAP.
