    Part# for a Xerox 4112 Part

    Hi guys,

Does anyone have an idea for this. I need the part # for a gear in the shaft of 127K52900. A drive motor for the registration assy (i guess).

    Thanks

The registration drive motor is 127K52950, not 127K52900, registration roll is 059K54890, 21 tooth gear is 807E21230. These are all shown in the 4127/4112 edoc parts list.

          Hi guys,

Here is a photo of the parts i was referring. I'm not sure if i have described it correctly. But it is the motor at the back of the machine that drives the registration assembly.Teeth on the gear only count 19. Is this it -
          807E21230 Gear?

          Thanks

That is the Pre-Regisgration motor. To my knowledge you can not order just the gear. The part # for the Pre-Registration Motor is 068K56400.

I checked the parts list in my PWS and found Exok is right, the gear is part of the preregistration motor and is not spared separately. In the past, when I cannot find a gear like this, I take the old one to a machine shop and have it duplicated. Sometimes this is cheaper than finding the motor.

Thank you guys, Good thing I've shown the picture, i guess i'll just have to order the whole motor then. The machine shop can be an option as well. They charge a lot though for small quantity, but not as much as the new motor's price.
