I think you can use 2000 LCSS only with 5875 and slower.

Old (10 or more years) finisher is not enough fast for 90 ppm.

The 5890 is considered a high volume machine even though it is not a d110 etc. Because it falls into the high volume category it will only take a high volume finisher. I doubt the copier will even recognize the 2k and if it does they will throw error codes that point to an incompatible finisher.
