DC 230 St warming Problem

Hi,
I have dc 230 st copier.when i switch on the copier it showing the message " Please Wait - system is warming up" and is remaining for hours. I'm unable to find out the problem.please post the solution for this issue. Is this problem raises due to bad sectors in hard Disk?. if so how to remove them.

There is a battery on the MCU board. Turn the copier off and shortcut the (+) of this battery with the ground (chassis) for 60 seconds. Turn on the copier. It should be "ready to copy".
