Ok, so I've been having problem after problem with my machine. Currently there
are no errors but prints are still coming out with no magenta, the magenta drum looks like i just threw a pile of toner straight on it and I've replaced everything I can think of with parts from a 242 that was working fine until its fiery gave up the ghost.

So far I have replaced the Magenta Dev Unit, Magenta Drum Motor, and the entire dispense unit. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm about to go crazy.

    Thanks.

First print internal test from diagnostic mode for magenta.
If you already replace developer assy then check CMY developer drive assy.

I just tried to help you but it is look like you do not need help.

On internal print we can see is there any magenta on print.
Remove drum and deeloper cover. Then cheat main interlock and print something.
Watch do you have drive to magenta developer assy.

I'm very thankful for your help! Didn't think to go one step deeper and replace the whole assembly after doing the motor. Still learning. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Do a try to measure the bias voltages on the colors magnetic rollers and compare the results.

Check the back of the M developer and drum units and the contacts they touch at the back of the inner frame wall to make sure you are making contact.

                    Hi,

Problem solved. It took the cleraning of the backend wall connections.

thank you again for all the help.
