    DC1250 - Error 9-345

    Hi all,

I have just had a DC1250 delivered (was working in NZ) to me in Vanuatu with the error 9-345.

I have cleaned the toner from the drum edge and checked the transfer belt as advised from the supplier, however, still no go.

Can any one suggest anything else?

    Thanks

you have to check IBT cleaner retract clutch and IBT clean blade home position sensor

Check and re-seat the wire harness that leads to the IBT cleaner retract clutch and any harnesses that might have possibly dislodged. A common case in this error category (9-xxx) for this machine when transported to another place; or damaged while in transit

        cheers guys...

i'll give those suggestions a go tomorrow. I'm a Ricoh tech, and first time playing on Xerox, long time looking! (long story, maybe offline some time!)

Techmate... damaged in transit... Check out my Ricoh thread, NZD$31,000 worth of copier dropped off a forklift! LOL... dot to laugh in the islands...

        Thanks

Yes, things go wrong especially when a machine is transported long distance. That's why we need insurance for these things - and I hope it's covered
