Xerox 5890 fuser chip going to 0

I have a workcentre 5890 and the fuser chip and the xerographic unit chip are going to 0 within 4,000 copies or prints.
We have already change the iot board, reset the machine, change the principal motor and upgrade the software
any idea where the problem is?

One of my techs ran into this problem a while back. Many things were tried / replaced and ultimately, the thing that fixed it was replacing the Single Board Controller.

go back side the machine see under the scanner position, remove a cover, loose a couple of thumbs screw and pull out a a housing card tray. pay attention to disconect a few conectors a tiny flat etc. good look. the big one is the SBC board.

              Pardom me
there are two tray housing card there , the upper is the IPS and memory card ,the lower is what you need to remove. you do not need to disconect the small flat cable.

The Peugeot man is correct, but before replacing the SBC, I would try the SD card. Machine counters are stored there as well and replacing a corrupt SD card is cheaper than the whole SBC. But beware- there is a special process and sequence for retaining print counter and serial number. Maybe someone unfortunate enough to have to work on this model can detail it. I don't remember anymore.

Scrapping is not enough. With the 58XX, you must immolate so that it never plagues another.
