    [Error Code] Xerox C60/C70 fc 42-323

    greetings to all,

    has anyone experienced this code and resolved for black drum motor failure.
    I have replaced the following
    drum & drum bearing
    drum motor drive assembly
    developer housing & material
    mcu pwb
    lvps
    initialized iot
    upgrade and downgrade firmware from original of 60.10.93
    increase maxprt

    any idea is appreciated, I am out of ideas.

      here the informations that you need.
      042-323 Black Drum Motor Drive Fault

      BSD9.1 Drum K Drive Control

      Description

      Black Drum Motor Drive Fault


      Initial Action

      • Check that the Front Cover is closed.
      • Turn the power Off then On.
      • Ensure that the Xero/Dev. Drawer Unit is installed correctly.



      Procedure

      Execute Component Control [042-008 Drum Motor K: 320mm/s].
      The Drum rotates for at least a moment. Yes No Unanswered
      Go to BSD9.1 Drum K Drive Control and troubleshoot the Drum Motor K ( PL 1.1).


      Check around the Drum Cartridge for binding or extra loading.
      The Drum Cartridge loading is normal. Yes No Unanswered
      Remove the Drum Cartridge and/or the cause for extra load ( PL 6.1).


      Replace the Drum Motor K ( PL 1.1). If the problem continues, replace the Drum Motor K PWB ( PL 1.1). If the problem persists, replace the MCU PWB ( PL 11.1).

          Leave the back door open when initializing the drum motor, an impact from the rear sometime will cause the back to rub the motor cap, not allowing it to rotate. Also check the connections from the IOT to the MCU. And I do see you didn't check the IOT. Good luck.
