Docucolor 252 error 042-436

Need help. We keep getting error 042-326. Tried to reset with 701-105 chain but the machine says it can't be overridden. The value in the chain has 208. We've installed a new belt but the error still comes up. Any suggestions?

Your Fault code is 042-326 and the NVM you need to change is 741-105. But if you dont take corrective action, it will come back and/or you will damage the IBT belt.

Have you taken the sticky paper cover off the reflective strip on the underside of the belt on the inboard side.
If not the error will keep occurring.
check this before you do what the guy above me said to do, or you will go round in circles forever.

Omg, no I didn't. Thanks. I just reset/initialized everything, cleaned the sensors and everything worked after that.

With respect, please do not do this. That coating is made of Teflon, and prevents the reflective patch from getting dirty. Removing it will cause more headaches than you want.

But on IBT belts that i have got in the past it is a piece of paper that covers the reflective patch thereby making it not a reflective patch and you get a 042-326 instantly on powering up the machine.
So although it will stop the patch from getting dirty it will also stop it being a reflective patch.
I've also had belts that have nothing covering the reflective patch, ones with the teflon coating patch that work fine and others with the teflon coating that do not work properly.
So I suppose it's a case of work with what you have.

hello dear friend I have an M24 xerox and I dragged two messages that prevent the copying draw. the messages are: TRANSFER BELT CLEAR (replace now) and SECOND BIAS TRANSFER ROLL (replace now). I replaced both Elements but nothing changes.

Did you also re-set the NVM to tell the machine that a new one has been installed

no I do is change the values and also I is not pws to change.

Its m24, he will need PWS to reset hfsi.
