    DC242 problem with heavy cardstock

Hello friends. I recently this new machine. I have encountered this problem. when I do make copies / prints in black and white on light or heavy cardstock, the machine performs a fast pass as if it was passing the plain paper. In Color does not happen this problem. I am sure that I enter the correct parameters when I make copying / printing. it may be an incorrect nvm problem? thank you

Yes, there is no solution for that.
You can use gloss mode or to print/copy B/W as color.

My friend, this solution is valid for the cardstock over 160 gr. If I print the cardstock of 160gr they go fast and the toner does not adhere, even if I enter the gloss option.

Have you put the paperweight on the next setting up?
If you are putting in 'heavyweight' then use 'extra heavyweight'
I know on some machines the 100gsm xerox colourtech paper will show this problem if you use the normal paperweight setting but not if you use heavyweight paper setting. Even though the 100gsm should be run on normal.

no friend. if I put extra heavyweight on heavy paper, the paper comes out curled.

Yes it will do that, but does the toner come off the card? Any digital press will curl the paper / card unless there is good decurling section.
But the only solution maybe to run on the next paperweight up.
The only other way is to print registration and not B&W. It was something that Xerox did to the machines in order to stop people using black toner over toning and costing Xerox a fortune in toner. As a black click was considerably cheaper than a colour click. So your answer is use next paperweight, use registration instead of B&W and photocopy in full colour not just B&W.
