Xerox CM5005d making white line through prints

I have a Xerox CM5005d that's making white line through prints, I'm suspecting it's from the transfer belt

have you done a stop test? open the front door half way through a print and look at the image on the transfer belt - if the image on the transfer belt is complete, the transfer roller is the likely problem

you can also remove the drum units & check the image on them,,, if the image is fine on the drums, but no good on the transfer belt, then a roller in the transfer belt assembly is bad

Check the laser shield glass. I had mine full of toner and after I cleaned the glass the lines went away.
