              The first thing you need to do is figure out what area is causing the problem.

              1. If the problem occurs only when you scan / copy and does not show when you print from a computer or make internal test prints, problem is the scanner.
              2. If problem is not scanner, enter diagnostics and print test patterns of individual colors Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow. See if the problem is only specific to an individual color or does it affect all colors. If All colors then the problem can be caused by IBT (transfer).
              3. If problem only shows in 1 or 2 colors, problem is either with a drum or developer. Swap the drum that has the problem with a drum that does not have the problem. Retest individual colors. Did the problem move with the drum? Problem is the drum. Did the problem stay in the same color? Problem is the developer unit.
