[Misc] FreeFlow 7 Problem DC 260

Recently I've bought a xerox DC 260 from a store that has closed, this printer has FreeFlow server with FreeFlow 7.0 and solaris os, the owner of this store has added a password for login, use and the calibration of the printer but he has lost this password because he dosen't use this printer for 3 years. I've followed "FreeFlow Print Server Installation Guide for Version 7.0 SP-2 19" for reinstall the software. After all I've arrived at this: "4.9 Install the Software License" and the problem are in this step "Obtain a 7.0 software license from GSN and save it to CD, USB flash drive, or UNIX file server. Procedures are located in FreeFlow Print Server Service Documentation GP440. " but I dont have any gsn username or password or license file what i need to do?

Without getting to detailed, the Docucolor 260 has several different options for a print-server, each with it's own advantage and disadvantage.

The best in my opinion is the FreeFlow, unfortunately it requires an license renewal every couple of years $$$.

Your other option include a Fiery EX260, Bustled Fiery or a Creo CX260.

The license string may have been included in the software package that came with the unit I would first look for it.

    So you have several options:
    1: Find the lisc. string
2: Purchase a new lisc. string from Xerox $$$
3: Buy one of the other choices I listed above. (byw I sell all of them)

    Best of luck.

Thanks for the fast response, I go to search the license string in all cd's again, if I can't find it, can I contact you via PM?
