    Hi,

Does anyone know of a chip resetter for the Bizhub C451-C650 toner cartridges?

I am selling the chip reset for these models, but only for the imaging units. Unfortunately, the chips on toners are different, 1-Wire protocol is used to communicate.

I am rpogramming the IU's for C250', c252, C300 they all use the same chip that is in the toner cartridge but when I have tried to program it to be a toner cartrige chip it doesn't work. Let me know if you find any thing out. I believe you can buy replacement chip at the RechargerStore.com if that helps.

        Chipreset.eu

We've purchased the chipresetter from Chipreset.eu as per your advice. To date we haven't been able to make it work. We chose microwire 16 as the device, selected the correct dump file (even copied one from a new IU) and it hasn't worked. We do a read and see that the file matches after being rewritten, but it won't work in the machine.

Who recommended Chipreset.eu? What chips are you trying to program? Even though you didn't purchase your programmer from me you can give me a call and I may be able to help you 519-968-3507 ask for Neil.

            Thanks Neil

            Hi Neil,

I clicked on the avatar for Ni311 and it took me to that site. I then purchased their device for $584.00 US. We've used Pony programmer to read and save dumps from New Units. Upon using those dumps to program new units, they read the same and have the same checksum, but when we put them in the machines, they give us errors. The machine says please insert proper unit. Theoretically, I should be able to program a chip to any color (CMYK), and have done it, but it won't work when placed back in the machine. I'll call you today (Friday). Thank you so much for your response. God bless you.

            Greg
