    Re: wc7775

First thing you want to do is change the title of your post to say WC 5775. A 7775 is a color copier.
Next I would take a look at the latch that lock the fuser in. Is it loose? Does the fuser seat firmly? Pull out the fusing unit. on the back of the fuser is a small connector (should be white plastic held on with 1 screw and 1 plastic post). Make sure the condition of this connector is good. This is the CRUM (customer replaceable unit meter) This is the thing that tells the copier how much life is left on the fuser. Take a look at the other side where this connector slides into on the inside back frame of the copier to see if the connector has any paper stuck in it or if the connector is loose or cracked. If this CRUM does not seat properly and making good connection. While your at it, check the connectors (both fuser side and machine side) that supply power to the heating lamps and sensors.
