xerox 230dc system warming up...

I have a Xerox 230dc that turns on and keeps saying system warming up. I can see the fuser heaters turn on and off. I have left the copier on for
up to an hour and it keeps saying system warming up. Please help thank you..

" There is a battery on the MCU board. Turn the copier off and shortcut the (+) of this battery with the ground (chassis) for 60 seconds. Turn on the copier. It should be "ready to copy". "
