I believe that you have contaminated developer, but also it could be bad drum.
First swap drum places, then check developer and toner.
I had couple situations with toner. It was exposed to heat and became melted and grainy.

What appears if you print a colour with no magenta in it so a 70% cyan page?
If it comes out on that page then the Developer housing is faulty, if it doesn't appear then drum or just the developer.
If the Dev housing is anywhere near EOL on the HFSI report then change it anyway.

Just a quick test swap over the drums for M & C do the colour spots change?

          Definitely drum or developer

seems like you might be right, changed toner, after about 100 prints the spots cleared up. thanks a lot.

I have seen this issue with refurbished drums. The drum tends to leak toner, this builds up on a metal shelf below the drum unit and when it becomes too much on the shelf spills onto the belt for transfer to your prints.

Is there buildup of toner on the metal shelf under the drum?

I've seen similar faults caused by drums, they don't create a seal against the Dev housing and then the toner can fall out, refurbished ones still don't create a seal properly as people usually only change the drum and not certain bearings, springs or cleaning blades.
