[Error Code] Can't get rid of Error Code 22-513

I have a customer that has a workcentre 7556. Originally there were two error codes according to the pc web interface. The first was eliminated by updating the firmware. But can't remove 22-513. The copier is in inoperable until it is removed. According to the manual, that code states, "Queued job needs resources. User intervention is required to supply resources required for one or more queued jobs; jobs will be held until resources are available. Machine services are unaffected." There are no jobs in the que. Initially, there was one job but I deleted it. On the copier, display indicates to reset the copier but I have no documentation that explains the procedure. The service manual is useless in my opinion. Any ideas?

I can't find any reference to that error code either in the service manual or on the Xerox eureka data base. My suggestion to you is to reload system software.

The current general release of the software can be downloaded from xerox.com.

Here is a link to it:
WorkCentre 7525/7530/7535/7545/7556 with built-in controller File Download

I don't know what level software you currently have. First you may want to try loading it as an "upgrade". If this software is newer it may work. (you can not load an older version of software using the Upgrade method)

Upgrade Method using USB drive (try to get a 2G drive or close to it)
Create a folder on the drive named "Upgrade"
Place the DLM file in the Upgrade folder
    Power off the copier
Plug in the USB drive to one of the USB ports
    Power on the copier
After a while the software upgrade process should start
Do not remove the USB drive or power off the machine until you are instructed to on the screen

If a regular upgrade does not work, try loading software using the AltBoot method:

Create a folder on the USB drive named "Altboot"
Place the DLM file in the Altboot folder
    Power off the copier
Plug in the USB drive in one of the USB ports
    Power on the copier
After a while the software load process should start
Do not remove the USB drive or power off the machine until you are instructed to on the screen

Finally, if none of these work for loading software, you can try the Forced AltBoot method:

Create a folder on the USB drive named "Altboot"
Place the DLM file in the Altboot folder
Create a text file with no data in the file, name the file "FORCED_UPGRADE", next remove the file extension (delete the ".TXT" from the file name)
Place the FORCED_UPGRADE file in the Altboot folder with the DLM file
    Power off the copier
Plug in the USB drive in one of the USB ports
    Power on the copier
After a while the software load process should start
Do not remove the USB drive or power off the machine until you are instructed to on the screen

    * Please note, loading software using AltBoot or Forced AltBoot will clear most settings to factory default. If you have scanning/ Fax / Email / Network settings configured prior to the AltBoot, they will need to be reconfigured afterward to use these features.

It might also be that the HDD has gone but the machine does not understand this.
Waiting for resources could be system resources and those will be on the HDD for printing.
      Can you ping it?
Yes try re-loading software and then if that doesn't work replace HDD and re-load software
