After power on Synergix scanner, it's write SE:Initialization (rotate calibration drive), then write Warming UP, then begin rotate to calibration strip, write calibration and immediately write Initialization failed, error ll-40, fail calibration. i changed places calibration drive and document drive, no result, reseat connectors on motor PWB, no result, also clean selfoc lens and all calibration rollers and strips. any ideas? post code is "P" - means ok.

Re: Scanner Synergix (XWF 6050) error ll-40
From what you describe, it sounds like the calibration assembly is not rotating. This could be caused by a bad motor and or driver board. When the scanner is powered in and going through it's boot up, you should see the calibration extrusion rotate. If this is not happening, then you are on the right path. You can swap the main drive motor with the calibration motor. If that does not work, then most likely it is the driver board. I would suggest replacing the motor and the board at the same time. I have seen calibration motors fail, and damage the driver board. The board part number is 960K33290 and motor 127K55650. We stock both parts.
