[Misc] Version 73 firmware and NVM defaults

    Hi All!

I am a system analyst and network engineer. I frequently do firmware upgrades in the field and have noticed something quite a bit odd when going to version 73 on ConnectKey devices . The "Print Supplies Report" button that used to be under the Supplies tab in Machine Status goes poof. I've poured over the RUI and looked at the machine settings but I cannot find where to enable this button again. I'm thinking that it is a NVM setting at this point. Anyone have any insight into this or other defaults that may have changed?

On a side note, anyone have a comprehensive list of NVM settings and what they actually do? Xerox does not make this information easy to find.

    Thanks!

I'm installing a new 73 machine tomorrow. Will scout it out and see if I can locate it.

Thanks for looking! I get so frustrated with Xerox sometimes and how tight-lipped they are with info... even to their own cores!

They're very much a "computer says no" organisation that take some getting used to.

Working fine for me on a new 7220i running 73.030.075.34540

Thanks for looking. Was this machine deployed on version 73 firmware from the factory or was it an upgrade?

Deployed, although we have also upgraded two field machines to 73 and they have the button.

Last question, I swear. Were the field upgrades done using the tool or were they done manually?

Thanks again for all the help!

Both were forced alt boot's done due to problems.
