color balance on dc12 with x12

I have a docucolor 12 with fiery x12 that has been working fine for over a year other than minor repairs. Recently I had to replace the waste auger assembly and when I powered back up, I am having color balance problems. The copier makes color copies fine, but when printing through the x12 the entire printable page has a light cream background color. I tried running the ps test page from the fiery and that shows the cream background along with a shift in the RGB balance at less than 50%. CMYK still seems normal.

Any help would be appreciated, but I'm at least wondering if this can still be a dc12 problem, or if the problem is the x12.

Check and re-seat scan and print cables from the x12 to the machine. After clearing the background, you may want to check the x12 calibration as well.

Thanks so much techmate, that was the only problem. Sometimes those of us with partial knowledge assume problems are bigger than they really are!

My rgb balance is fine again now also, but in working on this I realized I might want colorwise pro tools in the future. I admit I bought the unit secondhand so have no access to the original discs. I tried searching and emailing efi but didn't find a download and didn't receive a reply. Any idea where I could get it from?

Thanks again to everyone willing to share their knowledge on this site,
      Brad
