    xerox 700 registration

Good day, have an interesting problem, all the paper that is being fed through my 700 comes in at a slight angle which makes my prints skewed. Attached is a photo of the paper when it is as far as the fuser. I have moved the registation assemblly back and forth from each angle still the same feed issue. Any suggestions? thanks

Place a shim under each of the plastic fins that lift the nip release roll shaft. This will allow it to lift a little more and allow the paper to be driven by the second BTR roll, and should fix the skew.

Good day, I am trying my best to figure out what that is. what is the nip release roll shaft? the lime green lift that has (2a) on it? do you mean the plastic to both ends? thanks

The nip release roll sits above the registration roll and presses the paper against the registration roller. It lifts as the paper is registered and leaves the registration area and arrives at the second BTR roll for image transfer. If the nip release roll is not parallel to the registration roll, or does not lift enough, the paper can skew going to the second BTR roll.
