    [Misc] DocuColor 252 11x17 printing on Macintosh 10.10

    Hi all.

    I'm trying to solve a problem for my clients and I'm not a printing technician so I really wonder if I'm missing a simple point.

    We have a DocuColor 252 and it doesn't print 11x17 when we're using Macs. We're trying to print using a network connection.

    I tried to write down the IP address of the printer but the driver on that address did not install because it was for PowerPCs.

    I tried downloading drivers from Xerox website and still can not print 11x17.

    What I expect is to see Tray numbers when I try to print from my Mac. Instead, I see Tray Selection drop down menu and on that menu there are only Auto, Cassette and Manual Feed options.

    Can someone give some insights?

      Do we need to buy FreeFlow software to be able to print?

          Bumping this up.

          I think $4000 printer should be able to print 11x17 and select a tray. I can do this on a way smaller HP printer.

          I appreciate any help.

              it could be the driver that you downloaded for DC i would suggest having PS (post script) it gives you more options on printing that could be your problem or maybe you just need to adjust something in the printing properties or printing preferences hope that helps

                  Hi, thank you for your answer, I tried PS driver first and couldn't find anything other than Automatic, Cassette and Manual Feed on Paper Feed/Tray selection.

                  As I installed Xerox driver it gave me more options -irrelevant to the problem- but still Tray selection only gives me options Auto, Cassette or Manual Feed.

                  I'm just trying to print using 2nd Tray which has 11x17 in it.

                  Any help would be appreciated.

                      What type of controller do you have connected to the machine?
