7328 print and jamming problems

I have a workcentre 7328.

It it jams every so often in the fuser area. Pic attacked. I replaced the exit rollers and that didn't do anything.

The next issue is print quality. It gets some smearing? It is fused on to the paper and does not smudge but looks like it is. I have a new fuser on order. Will this fix the probelm?

please help.

I'd say a new fusing unit should clear up these problems.

For the image quality problem, the best way to determine what is causing it is to stop the paper at different stages of the copy process. Stop before the fuser to see if the image quality problem is present before it passes through the fuser. Stop before transfer and check the image on the transfer belt to see if the problem is being caused by the 2nd BTR.
