What is the code that you are gettting? Press Machine Status - faults - active or history and read off the last 5 errors that the machine had. If nothing is in Active Messages go to history and it will show the internal fault codes. Example 093-310 From there I can give you a better analysis of what is going on. No codes I dont want to shoot the dark on this one.

    Hope this helps.

Ok print out a configuration sheet. On the left side under Serial Number and phone numbers about halfway down the page under accessories it should say
Metered Supplies - Enabled or Disable
Another thing to look for if you are up for it is to check the Developer Connections for the toner. Very easy.

        1) Turn off and open front door and slide drum lock up to disengage the drum from developer
        2) Go to the left side of machine and pull the bypass tray down. Remove the 4 screws to remove the cover where the bypass sits in. Pull out top first then up.
Now you can see the Toner Hopper and bottle. Remove the toner bottle.
        3) Shine a flashlight on the left side of where the toner goes in the hopper and close to the front is going to be 2 connectors that look like they are going into the plastic. Un plug and re-seat them. If you cannot get a good grip to pull out then go to next step as you need to put them back in. Easier to remove than put back in.

        4) ONLY IF YOU CANNOT GET THE CONNECTORS OUT PLEASE READ ON THEN. Under the toner bottle you will see 2 shiny 5.5mm screws with a washer, these are guides for the developer housing when the drum is disengaging. If not sure play with the drum latch to see the developer moving on those 2 screws. Once you found it, mark off with tape where they line up as this will help in the install process.
        5) Remove the 2 screws and place to the side (DO NOT LOSE THESE THEY ARE SPECIFIC)

In addition to my last post

          6) Carefully pull out the Developer Housing very slowly until the 2 connectors are visible. Disconnect and re seat them.
          7) Put the 2 screws back in and DO NOT TIGHTEN just yet
          8) Without the drum in, pull drum latch down to make believe you engaged the drum and developer. On the left side where you took off the cover make sure that the developer is pushed in flush with make believe drum, no worries you cant force it any further then it can go. Use your finger to lightly press the back of the developer unit closer to the drum unit.
          9) Now tighten those 2 screws down so the developer can move freely to the left and right. Any resistance you need to back the suspect screw out a little. I tighten down then back it out a quarter turn each time to get it right.

Now if you get blank pages that means that the developer is not seated correctly. Take a long screw driver and place to the left of toner bottle and wiggle the rear end of the Developer Housing towards the drum area. Now you should have a perfectly good copy with maybe a few dirty marks on it, that will go away when you make a few copies or internal prints. If it is bad, vac it out and you should be good.

Hope this helps. Sorry for 2 posts but the darn cat walked on my keyboard and its not even my cat.
